The Santos is one of the most famous Cartier models. It is justly considered to be iconic. The new Cartier Santos 100 Skeleton is a graphically striking version that features 9611 MC skeleton movement manufactured entirely by Cartier.

This unrivalled Cartier creation features a mechanical movement with manual winding that was designed to relieve the dial of its traditional task to indicate the time. This movement is really innovative. It has been designed to include bridges shaped as large Roman numerals. Also it was designed to use all of the space that is provided by the large palladium case.

The 9611 MC calibre is equipped with two barrels, so it can store sufficient energy for 72 hours of timekeeping. Thus the long-term consistency of the mainspring and exceptional precision is guaranteed.
The bridge and the main plate are bevelled while the sides are satin-brushed. The dial is elongated and the wheels are circular-grained. The model features octagonal crown in palladium set with a faceted sapphire. Water resistance to 30 meters.

The timepiece features sapphire crystal and sapphire crystal case-back. The watch comes with black alligator-skin strap and clasp in 18 carat white gold with outer flap in 950 palladium. Individually numbered case.
